Michelle Pearce

Clinic Manager, Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher

Michelle brings 25 years experience in holistic medicine to her role as Clinic Manager, Massage Therapist and Yoga teacher.

Anatomical precision, awareness of the breath and the importance of relaxation / release, underpin Michelle’s approach to both massage and yoga. She is particularly interested in the links between mind and body, and the role of nutrition, exercise, talking therapies and sleep in our physical and mental wellbeing.

Her massage is genuinely therapeutic in its approach -  characterised by vigorous work to the more superficial muscles followed by targeted treatment to specific areas - designed to relax, relieve pain and engender a genuine sense of relief and wellbeing.

She practices yoga as inspired by Vanda Scaravelli, including pregnancy yoga and birth preparation workshops. In 2015 she wrote the yoga chapter of the book Your Pregnancy Nutrition Guide by Henrietta Norton (Vermillion).

Michelle is also keen small-holder, rider and writer who is passionate about holism both in terms of body and landscape. She currently writes Life Stories with older members of our community and the Wellbeing page for Uckfield Matters Magazine.

“I warmly welcome any questions you may have about the clinic. I thoroughly enjoy speaking to clients on the phone and do all I can to help them decide which therapy or therapist may be best placed to meet their needs. I look forward to your enquiry and genuinely look forward to welcoming you to Honeys Green.” Michelle - Practice Manager

“I've been seeing Zoe for massage therapy for over 10 years. I'm very picky when it comes to massage and Zoe really knows her stuff.  She works very deeply on my tense muscles (as I like a lot of pressure) and is knowledgeable about a wide range of therapies. She is also a very kind and friendly person.” B.W., Eastbourne

"Suzy was great - she was my last hope. She helped heal my shoulder injury which I had for years, with tailor-made manipulation and home-exercises. She explained things in a clear and concise manner and would often demonstrate. The best physio I have seen". Bryan

Suzy is passionate about health and well-being, and combines the Western approaches of Physiotherapy, Pilates and Life Coaching, with the Eastern healing philosophies of Yoga and Acupuncture.

‘Very thoughtful teaching with lots of hands on help. It is a joy to participate in a class. Very safe for people with joint problems and back injuries. I would highly recommend the retreat or Suzy’s weekly classes.' Bekki
